The question for revolutionaries and progressive people in the US
is, Are we going to allow the US government to implement a precedent-
setting deportation, honoring the extradition order of their genocidal
puppet Fujimori, who is on the front line against the world proletarian
revolution? This is an issue of going along with US imperialism or
opposing US imperialism's moves against the People's War in Peru.

It is not an issue of whether one approves or disapproves of the particular
forces working in Calero's defense. It should be clear whose interests
are served by sitting on the sidelines, raising all kinds of unsubstantiated
"questions" about those who are fighting Calero's extradition; who are
organizing rallys and publicizing the case in various ways and places. The
issue is not just Julian Calero, the individual, but the principle of the US
honoring an extradition order from the Peruvian regime.

Sheesh, Lou, it's been a long time since anyone gave me such incredibly
patronizing and petty bourgeois new-agey advice! In fact, I have fallen in
love. I fell in love a long time ago with dialectical materialism, with
Maoism,
and with the world proletarian revolution. I have learned the difference
between hucksters and honest revolutionaries, thank you. I don't need a
personal friend of imperialist senators to tell me about following hucksters.

"...take time to know yourself." Let's all contemplate our navel and our
"inner child" and maybe the cold cruel world will go away and leave us
alone in our imperialist bubble. Fighting against imperialism, and struggling

to promote communism and support for those implementing it, along side
of honest and equally struggling comrades has brought me much more
happiness than any other activity in my life, thank you for being so
concerned.
