I don't think anybody replied to your note. I don't know a great 
deal about Sorge. However, let me recommend an intersting book 
"Sonya's Report" by Ruth Werner. She was part of the spy network 
that Sorge operated in China and she gives a picture of him and 
his group, and a brief biography in the footnotes. Since most of 
his active work was in the far east I cannot see how he could 
have contributed much to anti-Stalinism in Germany.

Werner incidentally was accused by Chapman Pincher of having 
recruited and controlled Roger Hollis, in one of his books. He 
denounces the book as a sophisticated exercise in disinformation.

Her final chapter assessing the collapse of stalinism is worth 
reading.
