Karl: Hans much if what is contained in this message I agree with. I 
am also relieved to see that there are a few, even if only a very small 
few, who express on this list their oppositon to Louis Proyect's 
insolence. He and Doug Henwood seems to have an alliance going in the 
effort to abuse list subscribers. Notice they rarely if ever abuse 
each other on the list.

Despite my deepseated differences with Malecki etc I think Louis' 
venomous personalized attacks on him and Hugh Rodwell are 
unacceptable. He has also been abusive towards me. I saw that reply 
to you from him in which he mentioned something about the dentist 
drilling a hole in you head. Despite my disagreements with you I 
think this type of language is destructive.

But Louis Proyect is not the only person these kinds of things could 
be said about. The moderator of the Foucual List Malgosia has been very abusive 
calling me an asshole etc. I have never used four letter language or 
called anybody an asshole on this List

Having said this Hans I do think it is ironical that I should have 
been expelled from the Foucault List for simply criticizing in a 
theoretical way individual contributions on the List. Indeed the very 
person, ddiane, whose message I criticised thought that it was 
wrong to both mailbomb and expel me from the mailing list. She 
mentioned resentiment, I think, as the motive underlying their 
actions. My intentions on that list were purely honourable. If 
anything, I would 
have helped invogorate the list. I had great regard for the people 
organizing the list and never thought this kind of sharp practice 
would be engaged in by any moderators. I was stunned

I respect and admire your extreme reluctance to expel people from 
this mailing list Hans. If people like Louis dont like what Malecki 
writes then they can filter these postings out. Ironically Louis seems 
to show an intense interest in Malecki's mail.

Cany you fill me on this this matter of reorganizing the lists. THis 
has been the first I heard of it.
