I would like to refer Adolfo, if I may, to Trotsky.  He answered premicsely
that argument when it was developed by Stalin to justify the lack of
democracy in the USSR.  He stated that no class is homogenious  and therefore
has produced only one party.  Certainly here in the U.S. we have three
bourgeois parties:  The Dems, the Reps, and now Perot's.  So it is with the
working class.

Of course it would have been helpful if Trotsky had come to this view when he
was in power in Russia and in a position to do something about the one party
state.
