Phil and Louis,

The KPD/ML(NEUE EINHEIT) was *not* "some maoist sect in Germany".
It was, though very small and internationally unknown, a real
party of the proletariat and a very advanced one, only to be
compared to the Communist Party of China. Its experience still
is of great importance to the M-L movement today. This may not
seem so when you look at the postings from its wreck. But it's
still a fact, and therefore too, its history is not unimportant
at all. Mao Zedong and others have pointed out: It's political
line that's important. That's the reason why those who today
really wish revolution should study these things a little too.
