Zeynep, my current feeling is that the new Spoon marxism space, in addition
to any number of focussed special-project oriented lists -- and those are
a very good thing -- needs an environment like the original marxism list, 
but with clearly stated mechanisms for protecting the environment against 
bombardment by repetitive, unlistening, oppresive drivel.  Maybe there _should_
also be rules of the "no more than 3 posts a day per person" kind; I don't
know.  But I think we will not obtain the space we really need by simply 
putting together specialized fragments, however cunningly defined.  I think
in so saying I am simply agreeing with what you are saying, and I urge everybody
(who cares) to join you in this effort at definition.
