So Mr Davidson,  apparently,  is back with the old shibboleth of a
"value-free" science,  in the tradition of Daniel Bell.    "Science",  Mr
Davidson,  is steeped in the ideologies of its age;  like any institution,
its morphology is shaped and vitiated by the class whose interests it serves.

Just like religion.
