As always, you proswas a joy to read. But it is a very indirect answer to my criticism. I would call it tangential response. Regrettably, it uses a tactics of misrepresentation of the other's position by implication. It would be easy for me to demonstrate, line by line, the obvious inner contradictions and and even incoherence of your general argument and demonstration. I am certain that if you take another look at it you'll see what I am talking about. Nevertheless, your post has importance beyond its failed polemical intent. It deserves a long and well-thought comment (I agree with 90% of what you say about workers and culture. But everything re Derrida, et al. should be mercilessly laughed to death). Unfortunately, I cannot do this right now. I am presently involved in a very demanding piece of writing for M1. Perhaps, some time between afterwards and the X day. Comradely, Vladimir PS. I used to know a fanatic Derridian grad student at U. of Pittsburgh. Her name was Cathy. A coincidence of course. --- from list marxism-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
