Louis: I am not interested in being "helpful". My purpose on the left is
to break through pretension. People carry around these "rrrevolutionary"
identities like characters in a Genet play carry about cardboard cutouts
of who they are supposed to represent in society (judge, priest, etc.) I
am only sorry that I kept my mouth shut when I belonged to one of these
preposterous sects. Now that I am older and wiser and more foolish I will
not cooperate in other people's foolish games.
