Subject: Denounce the Negative Effects of Organized Religion !

Greeting to all comrades from Wei En Lin

Concerning the negative effects of institutional religion in
Mississippi, we read the following:

"A recent poll conducted by a Biloxi daily found that more than
75% of the natives believe in Armageddon--the death of the
world by nuclear fire, and in "Rapture" (e.g the return of
working class is well known and accepted by every strata of the
indigenous elite, including those within the "religious
community". Why so little active intervention in a society
soaked in racism, misogyny, homophobia, and anti-working class
ideology?

The short answer is that the Church in Mississippi--it doesn't
much matter which Church--serves capitalism in the same way
that it served the feudal oligarchy of slavery and--when that
was destroyed (by fire)--the regime of Jim Crow and de jure
racism that followed for nearly a century. "

This situation is to be thoroughly deplored. These doctrines
and social formations are all harmful to the working class:

1. Belief in Armageddon
2. The Rapture
3. Racism
4. Misogyny
5. Homophobia
6 Capitalist ideology
7. Feudalism
8. Racism
9. Slavery
10. Oligarchy

I agree completely with the denunciation of all these evils,
and of the religious institutions, and of the members of
religious institutions which propagate such evils.
