At the August 7 Rally in Melbourne, a group of school kids turned up from 
a
High School in the Eastern suburbs. By the Friday of the following week,
they had organised a one-day strike of secondary schools against the
increase in University fees. 1,500 rallied in the City and there was a
stay-away on a much larger scale at many schools. They are setting up an
organisation and it's growing very rapidly. School students from 12 to 17
years of age. They are planning another strike for August 29. I usually
prefer to post document, press releases etc., but of course there's 
nothing
like that available. 
I'd be interested in hearing if anything like this is happening elsewhere.
