Yes, the corporate sharks really smell blood  again. The bi-partisan ability to
get the $60 Billion Fed. welfare slash over 6 years ($10 billion of this  from
California alone as it has a greatest # of immigrants), will really whet the
rulers appitites for more cuts. Sly fellows/madams the Demopublicans are, they
probably commence their next blitz  to smash down  more social servicesshortlyl
after their election charade. Stand by.

On the state level here, the LA county board of Supvsrs ( 5 vicars= 2 Reps. 3
Dems.) are already moving
to cut Gen. Relief back again from $212/mo to $178/mo and limit the time one can
be on Relief-even if
means adding more  thousands to the army of homeless and hungry.

Also $20 million/yr more  will be taken from LA county relief funds to open a
brand new state of the art Jail downtown. Thus,more of the mailed fist for
workers and the poor. but for the rich, the LA city council just passed
resolution for $65 million to be donated to the Sports teams , hockey and
basketball, for a expanded 
convention center sports complex downtown. Welfare is OK here,  sayeth the
demopublicans , as long as it is  welfare for the rich exploiters and their
hangers-on.

This new Jail opening, the Big  Corps, banks. and the other assorted law and
order yahoos  have been raving for for 6  months or so. With the Demopublicans ,
the power of big  capital and their petit bourgeois cheerleaders is always
decisive. The political rulers always hear their masters voice.  

Many workers here will rue the day that this "welfare Reform of Clinton-Gingrich
succeded. Millions of workers, many hundreds of thousands of children are left
to sink or swim -in the capitalists parana and shark infested  economic waters.
This also showed the criminal bankruptcy of the refromist left and their liberal
bourgeois gods that no mass
community or city aor national actions were organized to build struggles to
fight this attack.
Only small  isolated spontaneous rallies and pickets have appeared so far- and
these forces are to be commended.

Groups like the NAACP,  MALDEF, etc would not want to embarass their president
over cutting the poor by $60 Billion to feed the rich now would they?
Clinton was really concerned too. He was busy in Hollywood eating filet-mignon
and collecting over 4 million   in 4 hours of  wining and dining with the
liberal savior hollywood movie stars/moguls.

No, the revolution will definitely NOT be televised.
