Look, this is just silly.

There *is* a forum of the sort you're looking for--it's called the 
marxism l*st.  

This l*st (marxism2) is intended to be different, if complementary, to 
that original l*st; however, it is useless complaining that it's not more 
like marxism, when marxism is still around and still a forum for the 
types and parameters of discussion you are talking about.

If you want to be on the marxism l*st, then that's fine.  If you want to 
be on a l*st that's trying to differentiate itself in varioius ways from 
marxism, then welcome to marxism2.  Indeed, there's nothing to stop you 
>from being on both.

But it is just silly to try and subsume one into the other.  The two 
exist in different ways for different purposes and as a result of 
different histories.

There seems no point in villifying either l*st, either marxism from 
marxism2 or marxism2 for not being more like marxism.
