Rahul & Ralph

What comes to Rahul's explanation I believe I've finally understood what
you meant. I don't think that's enough. My question is: how you are going
to assure rest of mankind of your truth? (One way could proceed by showing
the ethical 'superiority' - sounds awful - of your knowledge, but what if
they don't give a shit about that?) That isn't your problem though,
because we laymen usually take for granted the knowledge offered by
scientists.

On the other hand, Ralph raged so long post that I must skip reading of it
at the moment.

Personally I don't have problems with objectivity. We're good friends.
Why I interfered your discussion was the question of value freedom
(neutrality?). As far as I understand they don't have any necessary
relationship. You can trust objectivity of some knowledge and notice that
it's based on some 'value system' or somesuch foreign to your own
thinking. My example of european science policy and its reasons was good
example, I think, because it's not particularly marxist discovery.

Yours, Jukka L
