... as was Stalin. In political economy, Varga was also prone to some 
twists and turns that were not acknowledged (although, this was 
understandable given the conditions under which he wrote). Kautsky, as 
well, twisted in contradictory ways theoretically, but he generally 
acknowledged those twists.
