Subject: BOOK ON SOKAL HOAX?



               Ralph Dumain nominates me to edit a book on the SOCISAL TEXT
          hoax.  Actually, I'm  in  the  big middle  of editing four  other
          volumes (besides writing two  of  my own) and don't think I could
          handle  the increase in caffine dosage  this  would require.  But
          thanks.

               By the way, Ralph, my name is  not spelled "Snott."  If  you
          aren't careful, people might suppose you  to  be grossly immature
          (an  impression  also  conveyed  by  your  delight  in  the  term
          "wee-wee"), or perhaps even under  the  spell  of  the green-eyed
          monster.
