As I believe I have stated before, Spoon/I don't see a good reason to
support two lists that are both "general marxism" lists. I have heard
>from some of you that is what you want: "any topic, like M1, but with
booting out of some kinds of syles, contents, irritations, etc."

I want to focus on a more specific area or range of topics within the
enormous breadth of the relations of marxian thought to the physical,
biological and social world, the universe, all human thought and
activity and everything in general.

For many other reasons, Spoon including myself wants to multiply and
diversify m-lists, as the announcement stated.

I plan to propose a new list on marxism-and-sciences, pluralized to help
emphasize that the topic is not limited to "sci in general" or marx and
"the scientific method". I'm more interested in anthropology, physics,
in fact much of the discussion that has been on M2. I expect that some
of you will want to join that list, which will probably not be ready for
another week or more, depending on my time available.

I hope that some of you may like to propose other lists. It is
perfectly fine for a list to be small, silent at times, temporary for a
few people who are into a particular topic for a while, focussed on a
single book or articles [and we get the author to join the list] or any
of these can be incorporated into any permanent list as a temporary
project.

So get creative. And remember that you can sub to as many little lists
as you like.

Maybe somebody will propose a "stalin vs. trotsky" list ...

If you like, feel free to discuss desired new lists and recruit each
other here. On-going discussions and new topics may also continue, but
remember that this list will not continue forever, so whatever kind of
discussion that you like needs to be inventing a new home for itself.

For instance, I would sub to a "marxism and literature" list, that would
include discussions of Marx and Blake, and Ursula LeGuin, etc.
