I am so devastated by this news... I have been frozen in front of my PC
for a while now, and simply can't begin to really express how this makes
me feel.

I met Lisa on one of her trips to NYC -- we spent the afternoon walking
around the New York University-Greenwich Village area and noted how much
we had in common. She was always one of my biggest supporters, as I was
one of hers, even as we debated issues as diverse as dialectics and
environmentalism. Her passion was so contagious. I loved her and so
valued her friendship. She was simply Lisa.

I was so sorry that I was unable to see her on her most recent trips to
the Big Apple... but we did speak, with the promise that we'd see each
other before too long. She will always be with us on the marxism lists,
and will always be in my heart.

How tragic. How terrible. My condolences go out to her family and
friends, and I hope that we keep her undogmatic willingness to engage in
an open, active dialogue alive forever. It is the only appropriate
memorial.

How sad. I'll miss you Lisa...
- Chris
