what are your own interests? Politics, economy, culture, history?
Surely that has something to do with what to read.

For sure I can say only one thing:

"Capital" vol 1 is most definitely essential. It's the backbone.

Communist Manifesto! and one of these:
- (perhaps "Economic-Philosophical Manuscripts" 1844)
- (with Engels) "Feuerbach", 1st ch. of "German Ideology" 1845-46
- "Zur Kritik der politischen Ökonomie" 1858-59
  (is this as "Outline..." in English?)
