DEATH: LISA ROGERS



I am foewarding to this list the text of Lisa Rogers' obituary from
The Deseret News
Web edition.

Lisa Rogers, age 35, of Salt Lake, died September 15, 1996, in Salt
Lake of heart failure due to a rare genetic disease.

She was born August 25, 1961 in St. George, Utah to James Keith and
Juanita Taft Rogers. She married Eddie James Bullock on September 18,
1990 in Springville, Utah.

Lisa graduated from the University of Utah, Magna Cum Laude with a
double degree in biology and anthropology. She was in the process of
completing her Ph.D. in Anthropology. She danced with "Zivio," a civic
folk dancing group, where she designed and constructed costumes. She
was an expert seamstress, and made her own patterns. She loved
gardening and any kind of flowers. She was an artist with fabric and
design. She designed and made her own wedding tiara. She loved
children and her dog, "Jessie" a golden Lab. She was an environmental
scientist with the department of Environmental Quality, Division of
Water Quality, for the State of Utah.

Lisa is survived by her parents, Juanita Taft Rogers of Provo; and J.
Keith Rogers of Provo; two brothers and one sister, Keith Taft Rogers
(Natalie) of Boise, Idaho; Tiffany Rogers of Omaha, Neb.; Courtney
Mace Rogers (Tracy) of Dallas, Texas; two nieces and two nephews,
Samantha and Melissa Rogers, Mace Taft Rogers and Cole Ethan Rogers.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 18, 1996, at 11
a.m. at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Wednesday at 9 a.m. until time of
service. Interment, Bicknell Cemetery, Wayne County, Utah, which Lisa
loved. She will be buried next to her grandparents, near the ranch,
where she loved to play and walk.
