Sublimation. The resolution of contradictions into a "different"
contradictory structures (constellations?) is not only a
cognitive capacity but a imaginative one as well. This can be
accomplished through a myriad of tasks - including everything
from art to sex, communication to therapy, funeral services to
hospital visits (in either order), and or drugs to email lists.
Oh... we shouldn't forget memory, reason, desire, and
understanding.
