From: ibach-AT-max.muhlberg.edu Date: Thu, 15 Dec 94 14:26 EST Subject: Nietzsche andWill to Power. I am asking for some advice regarding Nietzsche and his perspectivism. I I have read and examined MaudeMarie Clark's book Nietzsche: On Truth and Philosophy, which has been helpful. Yet, she wants to suggest that his perspectivism is anti-foudational. I would like to suggest otherwise. I be believe Nietzsche to have a foundation for all beliefs. This truth is of course Will to Power. I find that Nietzsche is claiming that all human action including epistemological "action" is grounded in the truth of Will to Power. This would deny the notion that Nietzsche is "anti-foundational". Furthermore, just as Descartes had the "ego cogito", Nietzsche has WP! But where do the perspectives for knowledge come from. Rather, is the perspectivism epiphenomenal as a result of Will to Power and oppositional relationships? Some thoughts, please? thanks, Stephen Ibach ------------------
