Are you sure that you do not have Nietzsche confused with Thor? >>> <CND7750-AT-utarlg.uta.edu> 08/17 16:12 >>> you bet there are snares for the unwary; and there are pitfalls for those that are too wary. Nietzsche's concept of will to power is just too consisent for it to confound forever, as the ER seems to do. Will to power is force, physical energy. what does it do? it dominates, dissipates. real hard to get a hold of, i know. it takes a real keen mind to figure it out. When nietzsche writes tht this world is the will to power, this cosmos the will to power, that man too and all else that is is will to power, that will to power is force--he often speaks of waves when discussing the eternal return of will to power-- we have to be careful that we don't mistake this for nietzshce's way of describing the matter/energy implex, because he's really writing all this stuff so academics can endlessly bable about what he really _means_. beware, all of you out there in Nietzsche land, you would not want to make anything effortless, would you? chris --- from list nietzsche-AT-jefferson.village.virginia.edu --- --- from list nietzsche-AT-jefferson.village.virginia.edu --- ------------------
