The recent rise of Christian holyer-than-thous can hardly be called a
return to Jesus. Modern religiousity constitutes more of a reaction
to demographic and economic transitions than anything else. I live
amongst many of the so-called believers, and believe me, salvation
is the last thing on their minds.They wish to hld somebody or
some group responsible for what they think are rises in crime and
the like. They want to see a little blood and call th red stuff
*justice*. They don't give a shit about God!
