Subject: Re: Nietzsche's 1870s Writings

It's somewhat hard to find, but there's a book entitled "Friedrich
Nietzsche on Rhetoric and Language" that presents many of his lectures
from the late 1860s/early 70s. It's especially nice in that it presents
the texts in both English and German. According to the preface, none of them are
available anywhere else. Any edition of Nietzsche's collected works in
German should have at least some stuff from the 1870s, in addition to the
primary texts. If you need them in English, there are a number of 1870s
texts included in the old Oscar Levy edition of Nietzsche's works,
although the translation has been widely criticized.
