I believe one of Freud's followers gave him an edition of the complete works
of Nietzsche as a birthday present, and Freud interpreted it as a "death
wish" on the part of the giver, that is, that the giver wished that Freud
was dead.  Not sure where I read it; in one of his biographies, I suppose.
