Please accept my apologies for the tone this "discussion" has
taken so far.  For some reason, defending rape draws out the worst in 
me.

But the matter at hand seems to me far from "juvenile" (and this is 
what I was trying to get at by requesting comments from other list 
members).  I've been on this list for several months and have 
remained, with a few exceptions, an observer.  Now, if I may, I would 
like to suggest a topic:  Nietzsche and women.  If this is 
unacceptable, blame it on my youth and ignore me.  

I joined this list willing to learn.  I hope there is someone out 
there willing to teach.
