Interpretation is a form of will to power. What Nietzsche was critiquing was 
the misuse of language by metaphysicans about how they were using the 
what they called knowledge to define a thing in itself to get beyond
perspectivism which is impossible from a human point of view. To define a thing , Nietzsche says, in the will to power, one would have to have all perspectives.
