We have seen the disasterious effects of Nietzsche's attempts at spiritualizing "war", at least via misappropriation (grounds enough to give the poem in question a second look, for reason of one's own safety!), but perhaps this condition and its effects have also presented themselves to us in the case of Nietzsche, as well.
