  Apparently Fritz while at the zoo you were not looking at the
correct part of the ape, because it is biped, it only moves around
on all fours because of the lack of curvature in the spine which
will not sustain an erect position for any great length of time, but
it does have hands, and a quadraped is of the four footed
varitey.
