We like the PC advice, Judith.  But who are the provocateurs?  And
what are provocateurs?  Can one think without being provoked into
thinking, without violence being done to thought and sensibility?  Why
should we - or anyone - tiptoe on the matters of waging war?

Just a set of provocateurs trying to distract you from your more menial
(we were going to write bureaucratic) tasks...
