It is interesting to study cave art from the last glaciation, a creation of those human predators who on an individual basis created their own projectile weapondry. Surely they had a surplus of energy and perhaps enjoyed a life style which only a few "modern" men of the leisure class now enjoy. Even so, we all must envy these ancient predators their solitude. Modern research has shown that in fact that the male-female pairbond of this time did not live communally. Conservation of energy is a decadent concept. John T.
