"...to guide awareness so it would fly toward the abstract, free of
liens and mortgages"

If art ultimately springs from non-human becomings - and its production
is a matter of affirming (stalking, harnessing, capturing) power, a
matter strictly of a will to power, a political matter and a selection
which is forcefully intrinsic to artistic production - must we not
conclude that politics and aesthetics can only illusorily (as effects of
the State and Capital) be separated? That Life and its politics have
the aesthetics of a double affirmation, the simplicity of a line that
continually relays thought and action, an ambulant science of the doing
and non-doing, theory becoming a practice and practice its own theory,
both merging into a machine writing on a level even with the events,
neither creating or composing them, really, nor just letting them
happen, but always searching for the conditions that permit their brief
passage, so imperceptible as to be indistinguishable from the flame that
moves it _from within_:

"Following the flow of matter", across the strata and into the no-man's
land of their outside (metastrata), flying back over those sands, again
and again, "_drawing_ and _linking_ up a smooth space", and if friends
do not come back to you, or the line breaks, start again, leaving behind
the houses haunted by ghosts, closing the doors of self-reflection, all
those mirrors that transform us into spectators of a Life caught in a
cage we built all by ourselves.

A flight into the abstract - avoiding turning the consistency of a
process, and even its consolidations into "edifices of morbidity and
obsession"; taking the assemblages to a good harbour - accomplishing the
tasks so the process may be relayed; keeping the assemblage fronts under
pressure, unstable, open to seize other surges of energy - transforming
the darkest of the windowless rooms into a transparent, imperceptible
envelope: moving the assemblage point suffices. "Moving the assemblage
point is everything".

Would there be anything in this Life we would not want to suffer or give
away if only we could accomplish our work - and become free?

"Freedom", he said. "He wanted their freedom from perceptual
convention. And he taught them to be artists. _Stalking_ is an art.
For a sorcerer, since he's not a patron or a seller of art, the only
thing of importance about a work of art is that it can be accomplished".

Life is the work of art.

Lambda (still) Cooking

(Yes, these are the worst broccoli we could ever serve - obviously
uncooked, hard to chew, stringy, and to top it all broccoli!)
