N. regards this as simply the slavish revolt dressed up as metaphysical mumbo jumbo. Remember, too, in Hegel the master-slave dichotomy disappears (or is 'aufgehoben') into the worker. For N. there is no Aufhebung of this dichotomy. The master either wins or the slave, there is no middle ground. Now, many commentators (e.g. Kaufmann) have tried to argue that N.'s sublimation is basically the same thing as Hegel's Aufhebung. This is a poor argument, but I will defer to Lambda C's venom to demonstrate the full extent of this poverty. Paul S. Rhodes p.s.
