To my address book,

I publish an art magazine called Wegway (info and condensed samples at
www.wegway.com <http://www.wegway.com/> )

I bought a new computer recently, and I also changed my email address about
a month ago to avoid spam - it’s taken me some time to get plugged in again.

Thank you to past contributors and participants in our juried shows for all
your support. If anyone wants to contact me directly,
s.armstrong-AT-utoronto.ca is the way to do it.

THE MAIN POINT OF THIS MESSAGE:

Wegway organizes two Juried Exhibitions per year to raise money and increase
circulation (applying for the show includes a free one year subscription to
our magazine, and the fee is only $10 per image). I want all of you to be
part of it.

This time around there is also a $500 First Prize to be awarded by the jury.

The deadline is very soon – postmarked November 15. My email troubles are
the reason for such short notice so I’m extending the deadline to Friday
November 19. I’m sure we can get it all together, even with the later date.

I hope you will participate in this show at The Propeller Centre for the
Visual Arts, Toronto, in December. It will keep Wegway publishing and it
could benefit you – there’s the exhibition itself, the selected works that
will be published in the magazine, the one year subscription to Wegway and
the $500 First Prize.

Here’s the cover of our latest issue – just published this week. It will be
in stores across Canada and the United States very soon. The cover is by
Davida Kidd from Vancouver – she was a contestant in our last juried show.

Details on applying for the Third Annual Wegway International Juried
Exhibition are at the end of this message. You can also email me for
information s.armstrong-AT-utoronto.ca or download a prospectus from the
website www.wegway.com <http://www.wegway.com/> .

If you want to be removed from my mailing list, please reply with “remove”
in the subject line.

Thank you.

Steve.

Steve Armstrong, a visual artist and the Editor/Publisher of Wegway
Magazine.

America.

3 Acceptance by a respected jury is a valuable addition to your résumé – it
will encourage other arts professionals to consider your work.

4 The staff and members of Propeller will have time during the show to
become familiar with your work, and thus have it in mind for future
exhibition opportunities.

5 The opening reception will be an excellent time for networking in the art
community.

6 The jurors will become aware of your work and have it in mind for future

9 Previous exhibitors have gone on to show in commercial galleries and/or
become members of the Propeller Collective.

Propeller will make every effort to sell your work, but you are free to
decide whether it is for sale or not. You also decide the price. The
commission on sales is only 20%. Wegway does not receive any monies from
this show except your $10 application fee that helps us keep on publishing.
And don't forget the free magazine subscription included when you apply.

I hope you participate in this show and I look forward to meeting you at the
opening reception.
