Subject: PLC: The Death of the Intention

Inspired by the intentional fallacy thread, I'd like to hear whether
there is anybody who once and for all can help me get to grips with just
where the difference lies between that discussion and the notion of the
death of the author. I suppose that one aspect is that the discussion of
intentions is more analytical (less historical), while the death thesis
is more synthetical (stating that in the 20th century the author has met
- or is it 'will meet'?? - his/her death.)
