I, on the other hand, found the whole Phil-lit thread terribly interesting
even though I've never had the pleasure of dealings with Myers et als.
People approached the matter from all different angles: I tried a Lacanian
read of M's fundamental fantasy, others raised the specter of censorship,
and others still, the philosophical canon, the nomos and the nomothete,
and so on...This is merely a prejudice on my part, but I'd say please,
feel free to continue to post on the subject. BTW, I think that Reg's idea
about the "LA" prefix was a gem.
