Reg, rescue us not yet. (note the heading I have added for those who do not
subscribe to the "in vino veritas" notion, a measure to supplement your
admirable suggestion of the "la" addition to the subject line. It indicates
3 beverages at the point of my intersection with the question. So, it is no
longer a question of my limit, it is a question of the list member's filter
cutoff.

I would urge both you and the man whom mr w-B had the wit to describe as
"wet behind the ears," (we will leave the fecal invocation to, uh, higher
toned lists) to lighten up on the subject. He did, after all, cite the
number three English user in print (Mr JJ) which argues for a certain
lattitude of tolerance for his otherwise trog views.

I suggest that the man was being, funny. That we all are up-tight on
waggery. Especially the former boy-scouts (or even present scout leaders)
who are twi-listed.
