George's note was exquisite. I too could speak of 
such experiences (might make a good thread: when 
I knew poetry was more than meter and rhythm), 
but I'm busy, with over three hundred postings to 
wade through.

Scanning poems is all right, in its place and 
time., Now's not the time.
