Uh, well, uh, sorry, I can't resist carving these little flourishes into the
walnut, on the underside of the furniture, to amuse myself. I hope the
others were less noticeable. And in general I hope that nobody notices or
takes offense at them. I was simply making rather merry, with plausible
deniability (I hoped). I wasn't downing you on purpose, or trying to make
the earth move in any way (what's your given name mean in Greek, George?).
