Subject: PLC: Thanks


Many thanks for the identification of the Emerson quote.  I'm using some of it
in a novel I'm halfway through writing ...I presume it's in the public domain.
One of my characters is a professor of literature (male) at a major Northeast
US university, a close friend of my protagonist...and I'm wondering if anyone
out there would be willing to submit to some brain picking.
