Has anyone any idea how tedius is the life of the optometrist, how delightful to have a theory which creates an interaction between the application of the machines and "art"? How forgettable an individual who trashes that theory with facts, so forgettable in "fact" that one forgets the theory has been trashed. It is called psychology, not "theory." It is characteristic of human behavior. P.S., interestingly, remembers the name for the abnormality. The optometrist doesn't remember P.S., set of illustrations or no. El Greco was explained by an astigmatism. That won't hold water either. If I see yellow, it does not follow that I choose yellow from my palatte. Because I see the colors on the palatte in the same way I see the world. One did not need a book of paintings to refute the eye guy, if one had to do so. The error was evident without, indeed prior to, the evidence. --- from list phillitcrit-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
