of the optometrist, how delightful to have a theory which creates an
interaction between the application of the machines and "art"? How
forgettable an individual who trashes that theory with facts, so
forgettable in "fact" that one forgets the theory has been trashed.

It is called psychology, not "theory." It is characteristic of human
behavior. P.S., interestingly, remembers the name for the abnormality. The
optometrist doesn't remember P.S., set of illustrations or no. El Greco was
explained by an astigmatism. That won't hold water either. If I see yellow,
it does not follow that I choose yellow from my palatte. Because I see the
colors on the palatte in the same way I see the world. One did not need a
book of paintings to refute the eye guy, if one had to do so. The error was
evident without, indeed prior to, the evidence.
