Subject: PLC: Solar Imagery


There is the sun in Camus' The Stranger.  There is the solar imagery in
Broch's The Death of Virgil.  The Gnostics believed the "heliologoi" (if
I've got it right) was a demiurge equivalent to the Hindu Indra, the local
god in charge of this small part of the universe, a minor Zeus.  Milton
also has some beautiful solar imagery.  But I've got to go back to the
brochure I'm writing and make hay while ... you guessed it.
