Subject: PLC: Mot du jour -- or is it: de la nuit...?


I have a question for the English speaking litterate many.

We have a few words, in French, that are meant to designate a face. Those are,
among others, probably, _bouille_, _gueule_ or even _tronche_.

What is/are the British and/or American equivalent(s)? I have no idea myself,
though I (mis)happen to know an honorable deal of garbage-can words.
