I will refer you to Howard's post in response to those "damned fine
backup quotes. . . ." I said nothing to Troy until he demonstrated that
he dealt with criticism by saying that whenever you talk to an x they
say y, which is not an answer, but an evasion.  And then he did it
again, and again. At which point I jumped in saying to hh, you are
wasting your breath. hh is a saint, however, and persists in what I
regard as a lost cause.
