Subject: Re: [postanarchism] virilo vs kroker

i just reread krokers digital delirum, some of it i liked and agreed with the crituqe of technology, but generly i find the title of the book misleading,it seems virilio is better articulated than art kroker for many reason one of which i will present,in the title digital delirium, seems like kroker is makeing a very linear hierarchy of thought. very binary, delerium vs reason, the book it self is againt modernity and technology, fine i agree but as he criticizes technology he does not criticizes the rational linear logic which brought it in to play .to say delirium,is to juxtopose reason,so to say digital delirium is to say the digital{which means technology, rationality, positivism}.is kroker saying technology should be more rational, more humane?,if so this undermines and liberalizes his argument,my point is that kroker is making a binary argument, that is inherntly hierarchical and this hegalism should be avoided,as opposed to virilio, whos concept of speed is more "open" and
pluralistic,im nor for a rational{read as opposite delirium meaning madness crazy etc}.read and compare-red spider/black worm
