I read the Eliade/Devi , and was fascinated--and most especially
fascinated by the fact that though my sympathies (and stronger
belief in credibility of voice) belongs to Devi's version, I
found Eliade's to be my favorite of the two.  Perhaps it is because
his version prompted such strong responses from me.
I would like to discuss the issues further, as you have time.
