Subject: masculinity and postcoloniality


I am working on the Hindi film "Sholay" and am looking at the 
post-colonial male, and the articulation of nation via the body of the 
hero. I would welcome any suggestions as to essays and books that I could 
look at, and also what people's thoughts on these issues might be.
