 Dear Mr. Willmer, 
I had just wished the people on this 'List a Happy New Year... but I am 
sorry that it so affected your acute awareness of the condition of 
'billions' out there.... for whose welfare you seem to be situated in the 
perfect setting.... New York... the center of the people 'out there'.....

I had not tried to make any 'political' statement when I wished the 
people on this 'List' a Happy New Year.... It was just a feeling which I 
thought might bringa cheer, even a small one in someone's life...as for 
the number of people sharing my sentiments.. I am sure there are many 
'out there' (of which incidently, I am also a member, as you may have 
figured out from my 'strange' name and my far from perfect command of 
English..) Actually I would have liked to get a message like mine from 
someone else, becasue this is a rather dificult period of my life... as I 
face a strong possiblity of stopping my education becasue of lack of 
funds.. but rather than sending that to everyone, I thoughtthat it would 
be much better that my message might bring a smile, even a small one, on 
someone who checks his/her mail.... I am sorry that I was not able to do 
that for you...
