Most of the texts need to be Chicano/a, You might look at: Nicolasa Mohr--"In Nueva York";"Nilda" see "Re-defining American Literary History" LaVonne A. Ruoff, ed. for an excellent biblio. Barrios and Borderlands Heyck, ed. There's a book called "Growing Up Latino" that has some good material in it. Also the Literary Mosaic Series pub. by Harper Collins called Hispanic American Literature has a good selection and a good bibliog. I'd really like to see what you decide to use;would you pass on your titles? good luck. ciao, les lesk-AT-pacificnet.net --- from list postcolonial-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
